Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Comic Woes! (Rant/Whine)

I'm venting here because I have nowhere else to vent.

About four months ago, the Adsense ads on my Puck site started getting attacked by a malicious Adsense bot, forcing me to shut them down in a hurry lest I get banned from Adsense forever.  Unfortunately, my comic host (Smackjeeves) isn't really designed to deal with such problems, and (long story short) the people at Google recommended that I switch providers if I wanted to keep running their ads.  

The only option is really a Wordpress-based site, so I started one, installed Comic Easel on my site, and ... started crying.

Seriously, am I this dumb?  Is making a comic site THIS hard?  I can't figure out how to do anything in Wordpress/Comic Easel. I'm confused by the nested 'matryoshka doll' structure of the plug-ins and themes and everything.  I can't even manage the most basic of tasks, like posting a comic and getting it to show up at its native resolution.  (Easel feels the need to shrink it to match the design width.)  I don't even want to consider the mind-blowing confusion of child themes.  I'm never, ever going to be able to figure out this garbage.  

I don't have the time needed to learn the basics, but I can't pay anyone to fix the site for me, largely because I can't make any money until I get the site up and going.  Which I can't do, because I suck.  I love making comics, love making Puck, but this crap?  This ad/site garbage has soured so much of the experience for me, and introduced an incredible amount of stress into my life, that I feel like quitting.  I feel helpless and foolish, especially because there are so many comic artists out there who seem to have no problems with their sites.  They all have Adsense (which I'm too stupid to successfully protect) run on Wordpress-based sites (which I'm too foolish to actually get up and running).

And the funny part?  The longer this takes me to figure out, the more money I lose.  What a nightmare.

Nope. Hasn't been resolved. And likely won't be, simply due to time constraints on my part. I need lots of time to play around with Wordpress and learn how it actually works. I don't have that time. Heck, I don't even have a computer now! Oh well. We do what we can.

I could probably get you set up in the space of a day. Trouble is I won't have a day to spare for a while (applying to art school and gearing up to sell at the US's largest anime expo late March). Gimme a holler if stuff is still out of wack come April.

Can't you post comics in Wordpress' default blog format for the time being? I know it's not ideal, but it's not like it's impossible for people to browse blogs. Better to have something than nothing.

Well, even learnign the very basics of Wordpress is currently very hard. And primarily, the issue is time. I need oodles of time to devote to this thing, and I just don't have it. Anyway, the learning can and will occur. It's just ... so ... SLOW.
