Puck Comic Strip 42

This strip is #42 in a series dating from my university days. Puck ran weekly for three full years in the Silhouette, McMaster University’s student newspaper.

And so begins the nudity saga. This strip is the first in a short, four-part running gag about Puck starting a nude protest on campus. And this also marks the first time I’ve ever put a ‘mature’ rating on anything I’ve posted here on dA. I think it’s ridiculous for so innocent a strip, but apparently dA considers ANY BARE BUTTOCKS to be potentially mature when one can see the whole of the buttocks. Those are the official rules. And you see the whole of Puck’s buttocks quite clearly here. It thus requires at least a warning.

Anyway, this whole thing developed out of the endless requests for more thong bikinis in Puck. I ended up saying, “No, Phoebe doesn’t appear in a thong, but she will appear STARK NAKED in coming strips.” Even Colin ends up baring all.

I’ll state here that drawing naked people comes very easy to me. I spent A LOT of time drawing nudes in life drawing classes during my late teens, and I guess it left an impression.

I can’t deny it: nudity is fun.
