A Different Kind of Librarian

I decided to post this image that I've been spending too much time on lately. She's a character from an illustrated teen novel that I've been working on for the past while: a sphinx librarian. I hadn't yet generated a colour picture of her, and I wanted to try my hand at it. I'm reasonably happy with the results.

For those that know my style, you may note that I was actually a bit bolder with the inking than usual. I'm a strict line guy, and almost never go in for 'ink shading' like hatching and such, but here, I decided to waste a bit of ink and break out of my usual pattern. Tell me what you think.
